Welcome to the new Little Cornard Village Hall website established 2023

This site aims to keep local residents informed of news and events taking place at the hall and to encourage the residents of Little Cornard to make greater use of this wonderful asset. As village halls go, it is quite small, but is perfect for childrens parties, small groups, band practices, exercise classes and so on. The hall can accommodate c.40 people and has kitchen facilities and two toilets. The hall is available for hire including tables and chairs if required.

In 2022, an additional piece of land, adjacent to the existing hall and car park, was purchased and is now available for use for outdoor activities and is included in the 'hall hire' rates.

History Archive

This website will also host part of the 'History Archive' for Little Cornard which has been collated over many years by a few enthusiastic residents including Eileen Fisher, Rosemarie Balls and Jonathan Belsey. An exhibition of the archive will be held at the village hall during the weekend of the Summer Picnic / Hog Roast to be found under 'events' and in the 'events calendar' 5 August. In addition, to the information held on this website furher information is held in physical form at the village hall and can be reviewed upon request. The website archive will be added to on an ongoing basis.

Local Services & Sponsors

We are pleased to promote local businesses / services on this website for a nominal annual charge. Please contact the secretary if you would like to arrange this.  Clubs and societies using the hall are welcome to promote their interests on this website at no charge.
